Before I say anything, watch this short video. It’s only about 2-3 minutes long, but you’ll be so glad you watched it. See you in a couple of minutes..

Okay, so if you didn’t watch the video, what I’m going to say is still going to make sense, it’s just nice to see the video first.

If money were no object, how would you live your life?

What I mean by that is, if you had unlimited money.. Enough so that you can live comfortably and not have to go to ‘work’ for the rest of your life, and also you had enough money so that your children, and their children etc could do the same, how would you spend your time?

At the end of the day, we don’t buy things with money, we buy things with hours of our life. It’s realizing this that makes it so important to do what you love, because if this life is all we’ve got, (this depends on your beliefs) then we might as well make the most of it. Fill it with exciting, enjoyable and memorable experiences that make you happy.

Money is no object

Too many people will decide things like their career and work based on how much money they think it’s going to make them. This is a bad idea, because you’ll end up working in order to live the life you REALLY want to live in your spare time!

Your spare time! Your life should be awesome all the time, but it won’t be if you don’t really take the time to think about what you want, and then go and do it. It’s so easy to know what you’d want to do in your ultimate life, just ask the question from the title of this post..

If money were no object, What would change?

How would things be different.. Would you spend your time.. Rock climbing? Gaming? Writing?

Whatever you’d do, THAT is what you should really try and work towards.. Don’t think about the money for the first stage, just focus on doing it, and enjoying it. The money will always come later, in a world of 7 billion people, SOMEONE is going to find your Gaming commentaries interesting.

Whatever it is you enjoy doing, there’s some way to make money from it, and even if it’s just enough to cover your needs, that’s fine, because it’s better to be enjoying what you’re doing and supporting yourself than to be an office worker sitting in his cell wishing it was ‘holiday time’ so he could climb some rocks.
