Today I’m reviewing a product I recently got to enhance my meditation and mental clarity. I’ve been using binaural beats for a while now, and if you don’t know what they are read about binaural beats first then come back here.

(Basically, they’re soundwaves that change the workings of your brain allowing you to reach mental clarity and spiritual nirvana more easily. They allow you to do things like Lucid Dreaming and contemplation more effectively).

My review of Ennora

I want you to read this review of Ennora before you buy anything from their website, but first understand that this is not a negative review. I LOVE Ennora, I just want to fully explain what you’re getting and how you can best use it. Also open their site in a new tab so you can sort of follow along with what I’m saying.

I first got this product maybe when I was about 20 years old, in 2014. It changed the way I meditate, and of course because I’m quite into Lucid Dreaming, I was able to use it to improve that as well.

Long story short, it worked. I could see benefits from using this type of audio product almost instantly. So what do you get? Well, let’s go through it. You’ll see this page when you first click on the Ennora link.

Ennora Review of homepage

Just using arrows to annotate the website.

Now on this page, it’s easy to get distracted, but if you notice the arrows I’ve drawn on the picture, I’ll explain what’s going on here.

Blue arrow – This is a selection of different types of ‘packs’ you can get. This basically means different bundles of sounds designed to do different things. They each are tailored to particular ‘goals’ or actions that you want to achieve. For example, the Sleep pack contains a Lucid Dreaming sound file.

Green Arrow – View all downloads, this button takes you to a page showing everything you could get, if you wanted to buy one particular track individually, for example. If you ONLY wanted to get binaural beats to improve your meditation for example, I would get just the meditation pack.

Red Arrow – Just a little explanation of how Binaural beats work. Like I said it changes the brainwaves using sound. It uses a different sound in each ear, hence why you need to use headphones to get the effects of it all.

What is included?

Well, you’ll of course get a selection of audio tracks to listen to through headphones. The audio tracks have the binaural beat in the background, for the brainwave entrainment but they also have various other sounds overlayed across the backing track.

It creates a lovely atmospheric sound experience that will help you achieve whatever your goals are with meditation. Let’s say that you’re trying to achieve mental clarity, you would listen to the ‘Crystal Clear Mind’ track which has the binaural beat designed to enhance focus and clarity in the background, but it also has en music (Bells, deep string noises, bird noises, running water etc) in the background as well.

Which meditation pack should I get?

It entirely depends on what you want to get out of your meditation. What are you trying to do? Think about your purpose and the goal you’re shooting for, and you’ll know which one you need to get. For focus and basic clarity, just get the ‘balance’ pack.

What if I want more than one?

If you want more than one meditation track, you have the option of getting the Super Pack which contains all of the tracks. You get a huge discount by getting the super pack, I would suggest getting it if you think you may use it more long term and for various aspects of your life.

My experience with Ennora

Now that I’ve covered the basic explanation of what is included, where to get it and which pack you should get, I’d like to share a little bit of my experience with Binaural Beats and meditation. For a year or so now I’ve been meditating on and off, and recently, (The last 6 months or so) I’ve been doing it every morning.

I enjoy meditation as it allows me to focus more and achieve a higher state of consciousness, (Probably one of the reasons I love Lucid Dreaming so much). Using binaural beats was something that I actually did before even buying any product or even reading up about how they work.

I was obsessed with Lucid Dreaming and so I’d YouTube search for binaural beats and occasionally find a good track or two on there to listen to. The problem was that they were never ‘sharp’ and well created.. Always seemed to be a little messy and therefore I couldn’t properly meditate with them.

I only foud out about Ennora a month or two ago and have since been using their tracks every morning. I have some experience to share and I think this is important to hear for people starting out with meditating.

I would suggest if you’re new to meditation to start off with guided ‘voice’ meditation where you’re listening to someone telling you slowly what to do and what to focus on. This is because when you start it’s hard to know what to focus on, what to practice and what to really ‘do’..

I believe you’ll get much more out of the binaural beats if you learn how to meditate first. Downlaod an App like ‘Headspace’ (For Iphone users) and go through the free 10 days that it gives you to start with.

This way, you’ll learn how to meditate before subjecting yourself to binaural beats. When you’ve learned basic techniques, breathing sitting position etc, then introduce binaural beats. At this point you should have a basic understanding of how to focus and how to ignore distractions in your mind. NOW it’s a great time to use binaural beats.

Listen to whatever track you feel you need to. A word about some of the deeper meditation tracks, however. The brainwave patterns that you experience when meditating to some binaural beats are very similar to that of deep sleep. (Delta and Theta) so if you do this first thing in the morning as soon as you’ve got out of bed, it can be easy to fall asleep while doing it, which of course misses the point entirely.

If you’re new to this, maybe start by meditating normally and using the binaural beats from Ennora to do the more ‘higher’ mental activities liike get mental clarity and focus. Tracks like ‘Crystal clear Mind’ are easier to listen to first thing in the morning and they’ll set you up for the day. Save the deeper meditation for before bed.
